I managed to build my first solar panel for a tab under $200 and it worked very well. Shortly after I built my first windmill which cost me a tab over $155. Total was $355 and a much less expensive energy bill.

My next move was to re-invest my savings from my next energy bill into another solar panel and windmill. That is exactly what I did.

So what happened? Today my bills have gone from averaging $650 to as low as just $90 and no more than $100 (rounded figures).
