Make sure you set
your water heater to 140 degrees or even less especially if you
find the water temperature is hot enough at that point. And

not many people know… It also saves you water because if your
water heaters temperature is too high, the system automatically
adds cold water to it as a safety measure to prevent people
getting burnt.
Now listen
closely… if you have small children or a baby at home, the
recommended temperature of a water heater is to be set at no
more than 120 degrees.
Take
note… A young child’s skin is much more likely to get
scalded by hot water so the lower you set the temperature the
safer for the child and the more savings for you.
So think about this… not only
will you save money on your power bill by doing this you will
also make the home much friendlier for
youngsters.
